Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji,  has today directed that the Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich and Permanent Secretary, Kamau Thuge should be arrested and charged over the Kimwarer and Arror dams scandal.

Hajj stated that CS Rotich borrowed Sh17 billion more than what was needed for the dam.
During the press release today, when journalists asks when they’ll conduct the arrest, Hajji stated, “You can ask the DCI he is probably arresting them right now,”

He also called for the arrest of ex KVDA managing director David Kimosop, Permanent Secretary of ministry of East African community Susan Koech and other leaders.

He said the firm was supposed to cost about Sh 26 billion but Sh 64 billion was borrowed and also Sh 11 billion for insurance.
