The late Kibra Member of Parliament, Ken Okoth is set to be cremated today, August 3. Ken’s alleged lover, Anne Thumbi had previously obtained court order to stop the burial over claims of discrimination.
She however collected DNA samples on Frday, 2nd August. The event is expected to be private and will only be attended by close family members and few invited friends.
“Thumbi’s family appointed a pathologist who has been here. We also had our pathologist and DNA samples have been obtained,” ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna told the media at the Lee Funeral Home yesterday.
“Ken’s body will be cremated tomorrow. There will be no function in Homa Bay and we have told the area MP and governor about the cancellation,” Sifuna said.
