The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics is set to conduct this year’s census which will begin at 6.00p.m on 24th August. The program is set to end on the 31st August.
Below are some of the things you should know about the census.
- It’s good for you, your family, community and your country since the information gathered will reveal your need in terms of housing, infrastructure, health, education and other social requirements.
- It’s your right and duty to participate so that you can be part of helping your country to plan better for you.
- It’s the 6th census since Kenya’s independence.
- For the first time, all the data will be captured using a mobile device (tablet).
The Kenya Population and Housing Census will take place on the night of 24th August 2019.
