American Country music icon, Kenny Rodgers, has died at 81 years.


The Rodgers family announced that he passed on at his house due to natural causes surrounded by his family members under the care of hospice.

The late Rodgers is famously known for his hits like ‘The Gambler’, ‘Islands in the Stream’, ‘Lucille’, ‘Evening Star’, among many other great country music. He was a Country music Hall of Fame Member, six-time CMA Awards winner, three-time GRAMMY Award winner, CMT Artist of a LifetimeAward holder in 2013and has been voted for as the Favourite Singer of All Time.

The family said they are planning a small private service for his burial at this time of concern over the coronavirus pandemic.
