15 more people have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 396.
the new cases are spread out across the country as follows; Mombasa- 7, Nairobi-3, Wajir-1, and Kitui 1.
In Nairobi, the three cases are spread out across Eastleigh, Fedha Estate, and Kileleshwa while in Mombasa, the cases are spread out across Old Town, Bondeni, and Bomani.
The recent cases are from 777 samples tested in the last 24 hours across 14 counties in the country.
7 of the new cases were picked by the Ministry of Health’s disease surveillance team while 5 are from the designated quarantine centers.
At the same time, 15 patients have been discharged from various centers in the largest number of discharges in a single day since the pandemic was first reported in the country.
This now brings the total number of recoveries in the country to 144.
Two patients have also succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 17.
