Kenya has recorded the highest number of coronavirus since the outbreak as 45 people tested positive.
The 45 cases were confirmed from the 1077 samples tested in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 535.
29 of the cases were recorded in Eastleigh estate in Nairobi, while 11are from Mombasa, 5 are from Wajir, among whom one is a Somali national.
At the same time, the Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that 9 more people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of Covid-19 recoveries to 182.
The CS further advised Kenyans against stigmatizing people with COVID-19, saying that no one is immune to the virus, instead they should sympathize and empathize with them, and strictly observe the measures put up by the government to prevent further spread of the virus.
